LIPNO S.U.P. MARATHON is a new long distance S.U.P. race in Czech republic at Lipno lake in South Bohemian region.
ELITE (12´6´´ and 14´0 hard and iSUPs):
33 km long race will start at Nová Pec (campsite) and finish at Lipno Nad Vltavou (marina).
HOBBY (allround boards up to 12´6´´):
15 km long race will start at Dolní Vltavice (beach) and finish at Lipno Nad Vltavou (marina).
TIME SCHEDULE:
Friday:
20:00 - 22:00 registration (Lipno nad Vltavou)
21:00 skippers meeting (Lipno nad Vltavou)
sobota:
6:00 - 7:00 registration (Lipno nad Vltavou)
7:00 - shuttle to start Elite (Nová Pec)
8:00 - shuttle to start Hobby (Dolní Vltavice)
9:00 - start Elite
10:30 - start Hobby (start from beach after croosing first Elite competitors :-))
13:00 - the winner in finish (depend on weather conditions)
15:00 - limit for finish
15:30 - price giving / flower ceremony

MANDATORY EQIUPMENT: Each competitor must wear a lifejacket during the whole race and must use leash. Breaking this rule will result in disqualification. Disqualification due to breaking rules is also possible during the race (safety equipment, drinking alcohol and others). The organizer recommens mobile phone in water resist pocket for case of emergency.
